I was all ready to go out for a windsurf at Ynyslas, walked over with my kit to find it looking a little wild to say the least. Mad winds that were increasing all the time and some big seas. Chris had a go with his kite but dropped it in the whitewater, so I got wet retrieving his board for him and helping back up the beach.

As no one else was going to go out and things looked pretty hectic out there I chickened out and went for a surf at the lifeboat station instead. Not great as I only caught a couple of waves and even they were a little sketchy due to the wind, but it was better than 'death on a stick' at Ynyslas!
